Trullo alla Casina is a rare Puglian trullo set on a hill just outside Francavilla Fontana, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees across a private 2.5-hectare estate. Built in the traditional architectural style of the region—and among the few trulli found this far south in Valle d’Itria—it offers the romance of heritage with the comfort of contemporary living.
Recently restored with great care, the house is designed for guests who value silence, space, and privacy. The trullo’s famously thick stone walls and conical roofs naturally keep the interiors refreshingly cool in summer, creating a serene retreat day and night. When needed, modern climate comfort is available, but the trullo’s structure does most of the work—quietly and beautifully.
Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms and one bathroom, an airy living room, a dedicated work space, and multiple outdoor seating areas to match your rhythm—morning coffee in the sun, long lunches in the shade, and evenings under Puglia’s warm sky. The heated swimming pool is larger than most in the area and maintained for comfort throughout the summer season.
Getting Here & Access
The property is easy to reach, with direct access to SP26 (Via per Ceglie) nearby—around 2 km from SS7. You’re approximately 25 minutes from Brindisi Airport and around 1 hour 20 minutes from Bari Airport. Francavilla Fontana is just 5 minutes away, and Ceglie Messapica about 10 minutes by car.
While we can arrange airport transfers on request, we strongly recommend renting a car to explore the region freely. Guests receive a remote control for the gate, enjoy shaded parking, and have access to EV charging (3.5 kW or 7.2 kW). Access to the estate is unrestricted, so you can come and go at any hour.
